GOD LOOKS AT THE HEART 1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said to Samuel, Do not look at his appearance or at his height or his stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart........................Have you Read the Story? Many Churches twist this Verse..Members are told exactly what this Verse said without telling them the reason for the verse..Here is a brief of the story: God Asked samuel to go and anoint a king over israel in the house of Jesse..Reaching there, he assembled the sons of Jesse And he Saw a mighty,Giant, Tall fatman whose name was Eliab..He was a commander in the army of Israel..Samuel was about to anoint him (because he taught Eliab will be able to use his physical strenght/ Appearance inorder to rule the israelites)..It was from here that the Lord asked samuel not to anoint him because He dont look at the outer appearance But the heart..Then David was annointed as the King over Israel......................................My Dear, Are you dressing, anyhow because you Read/know about that Verse?..Consider how society has changed and what is now accepted as normal in the last 50 years..Dont you know that Your behaviour/ Dressing sets the tone for others to see you and your faith and that If truly you are born Again? Can you count how many men/women you have seduced/lure into Sin through your dressing? Have you ever asked yourself this question: What is the difference between me and an unbeliever?..Is it because i attend church, speak in tongues, Prophensy, Pray the Rosary?..One issue many non-Christians have with believers is that they tend to be hypocritical..If you are preaching about purity and modesty to others while wearing revealing clothes you may be seen as a hypocrite..By being modest you allow people to see your inner faith rather than your outer appearance......Ladies, have you forsaken what God says in Deutronomy 22:5 which says A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the LORD your God? Have you Forgotten What Jesus Christ Said in Matthew 5:14-16 A Christian is to be salt and light in this world?..Do you know that The way a person dresses is an indication of that persons character and spiritual maturity?..Moses was identified as an egyptian because of the way he dressed(Exodus 2:17-19)..A person is addressed the way he/she Dressed(Genesis 38:14-21)..Adam and Eve tried to cover their nakedness by the works of their hands..Despite all their works, they were still ashamed and afraid when they met God, He was not satisfied with the clothing they had made to cover their nakedness..God made animal skin and dressed them up in Genesis 3:21 .....He would have allow them to be naked But Why did God Clothe them if He only Looks at the Heart?.........................................Today, we see various dressing that show clear deviation from Gods purpose and standard..The Struggle to be trendy has made people to put on various strange dressing like: Sleeveless, low neck top that expose the chest region/sensitive parts of the female gender, transparent clothes, tight fitting dresses, outrageous style of dresses like, baggies, clothes design with cuttings or holes, slim jeans, clothe with one shoulder, leggings, bumper shorts, carrot jeans, body tops, tube,tank top, micro mini etc....Some wear reasonable clothes in an unreasonable way like sagging of trouser, opening the buttons of shirt inorder to expose the chest region, ripping off sleeves, straighten the collar of their t-shirts etc....Are you doubting this message because your pastor/ Bishop told you that God cares about your heart only?..Ephesians 5:66 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things Gods wrath comes on those who are disobedient.
