They fight to the last to see that victory is sure. They carry their flag; which is a symbol of national pride and dignity. After each invasion, the sing their anthem and station the flag at full mast. They conquer the land, and their nation and leaders are always proud of them. We could keep comparing the fathers of faith to a company of soldiers. Their likes are such of a great army whose interest and desires are to bring glory home. They longed for heaven, and they fought valiantly against every foe on their way. God is not ashamed to be called their God. What would you be remembered for decades after you leave this world? Your desires and affection should be more on Heaven (Col. 3:1). TODAY PRAY THESE: Oh Lord; 1. May my sole desire be to see you someday in glory. 2. May I be proud to be called your child. 3.
