GOD is GOOD ALL the TIME. Rick was discharged for a two week break last Friday. However before we could head home he had to have an MRI for his fractured vertebra. So at 8:30 PM Friday night they called his name and back he went in his wheelchair. Sunday we received a call that he had a new fracture and they would call back after speaking with the doctor and the scheduler to see when he could get in to have a kyphoplasty. (back surgery). After praying that they could get him in ASAP, our friends and family praying the same thing. We received a call on Monday morning telling me to have him there by 8:00 this morning. (Tuesday, yes today) So off we went this morning back to Little Rock for the procedure. I tell you what, besides being a little drowsy from the sedation, and having pain just from having the surgery, being poked and prodded on; Rick says he is pain free and he can walk alone. THANK YOU JESUS. Mind you this is coming from a man that for the past 5 weeks has been using a walker or wheelchair at all times and having someone with him because he couldnt be left alone. He now gets to enjoy the rest of his break being able to walk around, drive, or whatever else he feels like he can do. (no lifting) We serve a mighty God that has protected Rick and our family throughout this journey. I know he will continue to protect us, walk beside us and carry us when needed. I want to give our AWESOME GOD the glory for all the blessings he has given us and the ones yet to come. Without our faith and belief in him this journey or life in general would be impossible.
