GODS ARMOUR ( 1 SAMUEL 17 v 38, 39) ------------------------------------------ King Saul had the honour of being Israels first King. But as for David, he was just a shepherd boy. While Saul, by virtue of his sovereignty, was the commander in chief of Israels army.David was just a visitor to the battle front. He only brought something for his brothers at the battle front. The king was hiding far from the battle front. But he wanted to kit up an ordinary young boy in his own personal armour to fight Goliath whom he could not fight. Most absurd of all, David a teenager was dressed in the battle gear of tall and athletic Saul. It would have been funny if not bizzare. Even though David had interest of fighting Goliath, he realised thar Saul armour would be an impediment rather than a help. He put it off. As a believer, dont allow carnal friends or superiors to impose their unrighteous way on you. Are you facing some challenges academic, marital, managerial, or finnacial situations in your life today? Dont allow others to impersonate or give you unrighteous advice which does not glorify God in your life. If you allow it, you will regret it later. As a believer, you must not allow other people inaction to discourage you from focusing on your mission. Your victory in spiritual warfare rest on God alone seek his face always for help.( EPHESIANS 6 v 10 to 18) ( PSALM 20 v 7 to 9)
