GODS PROMISE TO US JEREMIAH 31:25 I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint. We can’t think of anything more reassuring than Gods promise to refresh the weary and satisfy the faint For seventy years, all that the Israelites had was Gods promise. But when the time came, God made good on His word. I believe He will do the same with us today! Most of the times we do think that God is not aware of our weakness and as a result when we find the going to be touch we tend to hide fro him. That is not the case. In Psalms 103:14 the Bible says for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust. Similarly He says, He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40: 29-31. What the Bible says is that, it is not surprising to God that a once vibrant child of God can grow weary, even youths and young men do. And that is when He steps in. He comes and refreshes, renews and gives us more strength to move on in an extraordinary way. That is not same with human beings. To them when you grow weary, you are are left alone. To them you are not fit for the course. The next thing you will hear is that, so and so backslid, and all manner of negative things. I thank God for Jesus Christ-the Great Shepherd, who gets out of His way and finds time to renew the strength of the fainthearted, the weary. Do not give up on anyone who seems weary and faint, because you never know how high the will soar after Gods refreshing. In these latter days, God is in the business of refreshing the faint and weary souls. Those who at one point went missing from the scene of ministry, the prodigal sons, and the like. I declare that Gods refreshing anointing that will cause thee to mount up with wings like eagles, run without fainting to come upon you and ignite you by the Fire of the Holy Spirit in the Might Name of Jesus! Let us hold on to this promise of God. Tell God that you are basing your confidence on the promise of His word that He will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint. Be refreshed and be satisfied!
