GODS-SPACE: NWACHINAEMERE, QUO VADIS? Food for thought: First Reading 1 Kings 3:5.7-12. God said to Solomon in a dream, Ask what you want me to give. (3:5) Solomon answered, You have shown your servant David my father a great and steadfast love...(3:6) And now, O Yahweh my God, you have made your servant king in place of David my father...(3:7) Give me, therefore, an understanding mind (Wisdom) in governing your people that I may discern between good and evil. (3:9) Yahweh was pleased that Solomon made this request. (3:10) I shall grant your request. (3:12) I will also give you what you have not asked for, both wealth and fame; and no king shall be your equal in your lifetime. (3:13) Moreover, if you will walk in my ways, keeping my statutes and commands, as your father David did, I shall give you long life. (3:14) Wonderful & lovely! Read and re-read please. Second Reading Romans 8:28-30. We know that in everything God works for the good of those who LOVE HIM...(8:28) Those whom he knew beforehand, he has also predestined to be LIKE HIS SON...(8:29) And so, those whom God predestined he called, and those whom he called he makes righteous, and to those whom he makes righteous he will give his Glory. (8:30) Sounds sweet and interesting! Gospel Matthew 13:44-52. The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure...(13:44) The kingdom of heaven is like a fine pearl...(13:45-46) The kingdom of heaven is like a big fishing net...(13:47-48) The kingdom of heaven is within you! (Luke 17:21) So, I conclude: You are Gods treasure! You are Gods fine and beautiful pearl!! You are Gods big net for catching men/women!!! Only be wise like Solomon to act fast also like the first man, the merchant and serve the purpose of a big net. God has not finished with you yet. Make yourself available to him and be readily disposed to LOVE HIM ABOVE ALL ELSE & TO LOVE WALKING IN HIS WAYS! Jesus will then blessed you beyond measure and for ever since he is the true treasure in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (Col 1:19) For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell. (Col 2:3) Therefore, from his fullness we have all received grace upon grace. (Jn 1:16) What then do you need? What then is your problem? Appreciate God. Be grateful for his gifts and as a thanksgiving: OBEY HIS COMMANDS AND LOVE HIM THE MOST! He has you!! Peace be with you all as you reflect and ponder along.
