GOD’S KINDNESS (BY Apostle Paul Johnson Asamoah) Father we thank you, we bless your holy name in the name of the father, the son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen. Today’s word, I just want to thank God for the life of anyone reading this message, for it is not by coincidence that you are reading this. I thank God so much for the men and women of God. Again, I thank God so much for your life, it is God who has directed you here and I believe your life will never be the same again. Praise God. I am going to take you through some scriptures in the bible and let you understand one or two things. Until you work out these, you will not be able to make it in life, until we come out with this, we will not be able to come out in life. Do you want to come out in life successfully? Then take these steps. These are the steps, these steps are going to take you into a very far place and your children’s children are going to enjoy to the glory of the almighty God. Praise the name of the living God. I am going to make my sermon short; I won’t talk long, read carefully. Today my sermon is based on David and mepheboshet but one thing I want you to gain from it is God’s kindness, kindness is goodness. The reason you are in that state you are in is because there has never been a trait of kindness to God in your lineage. The reason why you are suffering is because your family or your people have not practice something called kindness, your father has not practiced this kindness, your mother hasn’t practice this kindness, I am not just talking about kindness but I am talking about God’s kindness. God’s kindness not the worldly kindness/ ungodly kindness, it is all about the kindness that is from God that is what I am talking about now. God’s kindness will help you get into a bright future and it even affects even your children and unborn ones. The way you are serving God today will help your children in the future, everything you are doing, if it is good or bad, it will affect the lives of your children. If you are a prayer warrior, it will affect your children, if you bless men of God, it will affect your children. If you bless churches, if you bless Christians, if you cause men of God to succeed, it will affect your future. If you are in to disgrace men of God, if you are in to disgrace churches, if you are in to destroy the work of God, it is not kindness and it is going to affect your future and the future of your children and their children and in fact your generations if they don’t do anything about it. Somewhere in the bible the bible tells us of a man named Jonathan and a man also named David. Jonathan was a man whose father wished for the death of David, and Jonathan came from a rich family because at that time his father was a king over the whole of Israel. David came from a poor family, and even David had no share in the property of his father, so David had always been a bush boy. Jonathan had all the resource, all the means and everything that he himself can boast of but at the end of the day, he put all these things aside and followed David, fed him and helped him. What do you have? What do you have that you are hiding? If you hide it, you have hidden your future. What do have in your head that you are hiding it, is it a good thing or a bad thing? Stop hiding it, bring it, and build it with somebody! Use it to build somebody for there will be a profit of it tomorrow. Don’t hide that thing! Bring it before the Lord, bring it before the house of the Lord, and bring it to God! Bring it to support the work of God, bring it for today you have not seen it. Tomorrow, you don’t know what might happen. Jonathan sowed a seed into the life of a bush boy; David loved God so much that even in the middle of the bush he still served and sang hymns and praises to God. David served God in the midst of poverty, in the midst of disgrace, in the midst of him being chased. For so many years David was in the bush, how many years have you faced certain things, how many years have you gone through some things. The bible says this young man named Jonathan became a close and a tight friend of David. Jonathan’s father plotted against David, he wanted to kill David, and he wanted to destroy David. In this world, if you don’t know the future of somebody and you don’t take care you will destroy that person. Don’t destroy people, prepare people, and help people that are ready for the business of God. David became a bush boy but yet still this man called Jonathan appeared wherever David was and provided him with food. Praise the name of the living God! It wasn’t an easy thing for Jonathan to flow well with David because his father hated David; David was a serious enemy of Jonathan’s father. See, in the midst of your enemies the lord will provide for you, get a right method, get a right torch and in the midst of your enemies the Lord himself will provide for you. David said in the book of psalm 134, he says, for so many years he has been with the Lord and has not seen a righteous man forsaken or begging for food. My brother, my sister, if you serve God very well, in the midst of trouble or even in the bush, God will be there. Praise God! In the midst of difficulty God will come there, in the midst of challenges, God will come there, it does not matter who you are, it does not matter what family you are from, it does not matter whether you have a sister or not, whether you have an uncle, whether you are an orphan. It does not matter whether your father is dead or your sister is dead or your people are dead, God will provide for you. Remember that, none of David’s bothers were there, David’s father wasn’t there, remember that, no sister of David was there, David’s mother wasn’t there but still God provided for him. You see, God wants to bless you, but before God will bless you, he wants you to release your hands. Look! Until you release your hands, nothing will be handed over to you If it is hard for you to open your hands, then it will also be impossible for you to receive something. Open your hands! Let me tell you something, everyday of your life, practice giving, even if it is water that you are going to give it, give it out. Every day, give somebody something; don’t let it be one person, spread out. You shouldn’t only do this at church. Everywhere in the world, everywhere you appear, there shall be goodness, if you have coins go and give it to somebody, do not sleep, if you have something just go and bless someone with it. If you don’t know how to give, how can you be blessed? Can you be blessed? All you know is offering and even when it comes to offering some don’t pay. You are more than you think you are for the bible says in the book of Isaiah 55 verse 8 and 9 that, ‘’your thoughts are not my thoughts, neither are my ways your ways’’. Let’s say, you have noticed the good work of a brother at church, instead of blessing the person you start to complain about the negative aspects of what he does or who is. If you are living in the world, you are like a chicken but if you are in Christ, you are more and far more a trillion times better than a chicken served to a king. This is because even a chicken has a future, even when it dies people cook it and eat, but your body goes straight 6ft underground. At least even chickens are used for feasts and other occasions. Praise the name of the Lord! Chickens are sometimes caught and even given a special date to kill. Even when a chicken is about to be slaughtered, it is given water to drink first. When it comes to humans, we don’t usually know when we die and have no idea where we are buried. Some people are even put in the mortuaries for months simply because there is no location for the burial. It is good for you to practice goodness, Jonathan practiced goodness because he did not say ‘’my father has this, my father has that’’. Your father can be the richest man today and tomorrow you are nothing. You can gain many, many properties today and be a no body tomorrow. During the time Saul was practicing evil; Jonathan didn’t do the same but practiced the seed of goodness and kindness. The fact that your father is rich doesn’t mean that when he is fooling around you will also fool along with him. Your father is not a Christian so you also say you will not be a Christian, your father speaks of perfecting his witchcraft and you also follow his ways. Your father didn’t repent before dying, your mother didn’t repent before dying and you also say you want to follow the same routine. Your father is a cruel man and you tell yourself I will also do the same, I tell you, you are going to be in danger. Jonathan chose not to follow his father, but rather sow a seed in the life of David. Start doing things that even when you are not there, you name will forever be remembered. What at all, will you be remembered for when you die? Is it a good thing or a bad thing? May God help us accomplish our aim on earth! Look! Whatever you sow as a seed continues, tell somebody to continue practicing whatever he/she has been practicing in God. If it is so that you pay your siblings fees go on. If you pay someone else’s fees, go on. If you are taking care of someone, go on. If you give out to the needy, go on, don’t go and stand somewhere to disgrace the person for what you are doing today will expand your glory, it will expand your favour, and it will expand you. It will enlarge you to be big. I am taking you through the book of, 2 kings chapter 9 vs. 1 going, talks about David and mepheboshet the bible made us understand, mepheboshet was eating with dogs as at that time. In Saul’s family, everyone was cursed; we still have such people living in this modern world now. Someone may be very rich but cruel, such a person when he/she dies, it brings trouble to the family. It could be that you are the president of this country or that country, when you die, there will be curse in the house, and no one will prosper. It is like; Jonathan saw the mystery behind it because he had a fellowship with David. Ask yourself, who is your companion? Who is your friend? Jonathan associated himself with David; he got so closed to David. The bible says as soon as the father of Jonathan died, the lands were taken away from them, their property and everything was taken. They had a lot of properties but the moment, their father died, they lost everything. In the book of 2 kings 9 verse 1, there was a man named zeeba and you could tell he was from the family of soul but because of the kindness Jonathan practiced, it became a memorial. What you are doing right now, are you sure when you die it will be a memorial, there must be a memorial. The bible says that David didn’t accept the garment put on him because he didn’t feel comfortable in it. The very day David fought goliath he had his usual clothes on. It does not matter where you are, it does not matter your education, when the appointed time comes, you will be picked, from where you are into where God wants to put you. You will go to a city and be a king, whiles people with a lot of degrees and certificates are still there. David came from nowhere and became a king, this is because God has prepared him in the bush and at the end of the day, as soon as he came to town, and he became a king. In the midst of bush, God was his guidance. May you see your future in Jesus’ name! May you see your future so that you will bless people! So as soon as David came, he knew not the family of Saul or who Goliath was because he had always been in the bush. Sometimes when you die, if you don’t take care everything of yours will be taken by the enemies, somebody would even come and proclaim the land for himself. Everyone would be able to make their choice from what belongs to you. Yes! That is what happened in the life of Saul, this is because he rejected God’s word. Obedience is always better than sacrifice! So David said, is there anyone in the family of Saul and a certain man came who was called zeeba, he had many children with great honour. Even after he had claimed to be a part of Saul’s family, David was still not satisfied because he was expecting something from Jonathan; he then asked again and was told about mepheboshet. Don’t give up in doing good! Don’t give up on paying of tithes! Don’t give up! Some people become weary in doing good, but the bible tells us in the book of Galatians 6:9 to not become weary in doing good for at a proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Don’t give up! Continue and I tell you, you will be surprised! At the moment mepheboshet came, David showed kindness and goodness upon him. Listen to this carefully, anyone whose possession is from as the result of God’s blessings, he gives out without resistance but someone whose wealth isn’t from God, he/she lacks the tendency to give. If you know the thing is from God, you will give and because the more you give the more you receive. Praise God! This is the principle in the kingdom of God! If it is not form God, the person becomes very cruel and stingy to give. You could go to such a person and ask for money for your father’s medication and that person would tell you to forget. Those people are sometimes prevented by their source of wealth to do good to people. They rather use their money to promote the work of the devil, to do the wrong things and to encourage the wrong people to do the wrong things. Praise the name of the living God! Are you getting it? And even if such a person would give out, he does so just to tap something from you, could be information, your blessing or any other thing. Someone could give you ten million and ever since then you are unable to sleep, you begin to have sleepless nights. Think before taking something from someone, because they might take something away from you in return, your peace, happiness, family, joy, education, just name it. May God help us to have the depth of insight to detect the wrong hands from the good ones that stretches towards us! Release your hands! When you have the ability to give even if you don’t have it, you feel the urge to give. Even if you don’t have it, you pray that God open ways and doors for you to be able to help others; this the God-like kind of kindness I am talking about. If you don’t have such spirit, then you are not of God. Brothers and sisters, it’s all about goodness and kindness and through that, God will work many miracles in your life. Release your hands for when you release your hands, you release blessings. If Jonathan hadn’t been kind to David, it would not have turn out good for his household. Praise God! David told Mepheboshet, that he was going to eat with him on his table, and showed him kindness. Just imagine a person who eats with dogs, a rejected person, someone who struggles with dogs for food. Brother, sister, it is not about where you come from or where you have been, all you have to do is to just practice this God-like kindness and in the end, everything will turn out for your good. He didn’t even know his father had done something, what are you doing for your family, what are your doing for your children? There are some people who favour other children because they know their child might find themselves in a condition whereby that kid would be their only helper. On the other hand, some parents maltreat other children just because they are not of their own but forgetting that one day, their time will also come. The moment you favour someone, you will also be favored. I have never seen a believer who has been disgraced before unless the person doesn’t know the principles of God. I have tested God in so many ways. I can even put my life on the line, and my last on the line in terms of giving because I am fully aware of the kind of God I am serving. Praise God. Let me tell you a secret, we have something called, kingdom billionaires, some people do not have but they do great things, do you know why? This is because, anytime they are in need, God will draw them to what they need. You will never struggle, if you want to have a wedding, God will draw your life partner to you. When Jesus came on this earth, was anything about the banks of his disciples recorded? Someone can gather up all the riches of the world and at the end of the day, the wind will blow it and nothing will be left. Some people even waste all their money attending funerals and burying members of their families. Somebody may have little but simply because he/she is a kind hearted person, he can use it and use it well and the more that person gives, the more he gains. Solomon had no banks, but he was so blessed that even people came from all over to seek wisdom from him. Today we behave as though we are so wiser than God that’s why we are not blessed. It is hard for us to therefore tap the blessings that God wants to give us. It is God who blesses us, mepheboshet was so poor but when God came into his life he became very blessed because of the goodness that his father practiced. The reason why most of us are suffering is due to the works of our fore fathers, very wicked; they didn’t want to release and practice the things of God, but you should practice God’s principle and you shall live to enjoy the good things from God and your children’s children. At times you need to take a seed offering and put in an envelope and sow it into the life of anything, your future, marriage, family, children etc. to the glory of God. Come and enjoy, come and flow because at the end of the day, you are going to reap a harvest. There is time for everything and for every harvest; there is something that no one would discover but you. Don’t forget to do the things of God…’’lift up your hands and say, today, God, I have realized that you can bless me, at this moment as I pray, anything that my father couldn’t do, my mother couldn’t do, God help me to be able to do it’’ pray! Continue with this line ‘’any spirit that is against my life, my family, my business, my marriage, anything of mine, at this moment, I come against them in the mighty name of Jesus.’’ Everything is possible with God! All things are possible with God so take heart and praise God in all things. From this moment, anything that is impossible in your life, marriage or anything that should be fruitful in your life; I pray that may it be possible with you in Jesus’ name. It is possible! Everything will be possible in your life in Jesus’ name, just believer it. You are once again welcome to power life prophetic ministries, worldwide for it is a ministry God is using by God’s grace. I want to take you through tithe payment or giving, I was talking about a man named mepheboshet, Jonathan and David. I am going to enhance you in the area of tithe giving; I am going to take my time to explain so that at the end of the day, you may be a blessing. If you are not blessed, God is also not blessed in your life, God is only there because of you, without you God is not there, no one would even recognize his goodness, love, mercy and his awesomeness, we are like vessels that God uses to glorify himself. Without us, God is not there, we are exalting him, if you agree with me just put your hands up and start to glorify the name of the Lord. We have a lot of weddings that are going to be taken place, the first will be taken in May 25 and the second is going to be august and God being so good it is going to continue. Praise the name of the living God. Anytime you are ready just go forward to be blessed by the man of God and God will honour you. I am not preaching but teaching, preaching can be fast but teaching is always slow so I am going to take my time to teach. Jesus taught at certain points so I am also going to teach. It is simple for you to offer your tithes and it s simple for you to offer your giving, where you are now is due to somebody’s giving. You have been offered by someone, God has given us given us gifts. When you read the book of Romans 11:29, it says the gifts of God are irrevocable, meaning without change/ without repentance. When God has given you something, no one would be able to take it away from you; it will never leave your hands. He has given to you permanently according to Romans chapter 11;29. If he has given it to you, he has surely given it to you; it is therefore yours forever to keep. For humans when they give you something, it is likely they will come back for it but if it is from God be rest assured. For God has a lot so he doesn’t care how much he gives to you, it will never dry. Do you know the reason why the person who gave it to you might come back for it? It is because he has no more but for God, he has more and more and more in his bosom so he can offer more and more to you. The bible says, it is God who gives one the power to become wealthy, it is God who gives the power to work, it is God who gives you the power to be doing what you’re doing, it is God who gives you the power to have a cent of every money you own. It is God who gives you the power to be what you are. The best thing for you to do is to honour him in order for you to continue for everyday of your life and to be well established so then you have to refer God. You ought to offer tithes unto him, tithe is one tenth of everything you gain that is your income. If you receive an amount of ten thousand, then you are going to offer only 1 percent of it. Do all these to the glory of God and sometimes we have something called double tithing, when God is blessing you, you increase it, you then add something to your tithes. By so doing, God will give you more so that you will bring it to his house. Praise the name of the living God. When you do this, it is a way of telling God you honour what he has done, and that you really appreciate what he’s done and is doing in your life. It does not matter whether you are not working because anything you do there is a record, do you have a record on what you are doing? Anything you are doing needs a record, do you understand that? In the past years while I was still a student, I struggled before getting money for my school fees, I struggled before I ate and that was around 12 June, 1995. At that time I was a still a student, not bible school but a normal school in Kumasi. I use to struggle before eating, my tithe was very small as compared to now, no pastors payed my fees for me, no church payed my fees for me, it is God. So if by the grace of God, I started paying tithes not today but for a very long time ago and that has been a very great challenge to me. There is something called building funds, it’s a coupon for building funds, by God’s grace I have some written in my name. When God says yes, no one can say no! I made a contribution and every month I was supposed to pay thousand cedis, I supported so many things and I was only a student then, how many students pay their tithes? Because of this, if I was about to go to school, I would not struggle, my mom didn’t pay, my dad didn’t pay but God worked miracles. If you do the work of God with all of your might and strength and there be a time that you are in need the Lord himself will provide for you, then how much more someone who is a worker, God expects as much from you. A student does it and if a student does it, how much more of a worker? You need to give it all out to God for him to bless you abundantly. You have no excuse! Why do I love children? I have been to villages, preaching the gospel to people, this is the record without microphone. Why did I keep this? I want you to know that when I started the work it wasn’t today, it’s been years and God has helped us up to date. The same God will help us to finish, he will help us finish, I have more to show you but this all for today. It is good for you to practice your tithe payments, it does not matter who you are. I have evangelized at a church before, we went there and there were little children out there. They put things in order, you are too much and more than that to do what you are supposed to do in the work of the Lord. There is nothing that we can choose not to do, you can do it! You can do it! Just relax and be patient unto God and do it to the glory of the Lord, it is good for you to be faithful to God. If you look to the amount that comes into your hands everyday you have to be faithful to God. Wisdom does not come from you, wisdom comes from God according to James chapter 1, ‘’if you need respect ask from me’’. God is the one who is going to give you the wisdom to run your business. When you read psalm 50, it says, everyone will be hungry and cry unto God. It is God who gives food to animals; it is God who is taking care of them, the same God will take care of you. Sometimes when you have money you forget about God, most of us; that is why we are struggling and going through so many problems. Anytime money will come into your hands, first thing for you to do is put the money into the kingdom of God and that character must be a part of you. Brothers, sisters, put your best into the kingdom of God. Anytime you are in need, God will withdraw the money. Praise God! Study carefully the things in the bible and see if you can get a person in the bible, who did the work of the Lord and was still suffering. Never! Start not and be faithful unto God, God blesses us every time, sometimes when you see the blessings you’ve received from God, it’s hard for you to share those blessings. I come against that spirit in Jesus’ name, receive it in good faith. I could remember one day, a certain man came to tell me he needed a contract and that his work was not working so I should pray for him. So we did pray for him and at the end of the day, h e had about 900 million and after that, but ask me, how many or how much of the money did this man sacrificed and offered to support the kingdom of God. He didn’t even offer a cent to support the kingdom of God, the kingdom that helped him to flourish and even after all this, the most, easiest thing to do which is blessing people; this man didn’t even say a word up to date. Whether you help in the work of the lord or not the work of the Lord will still move ahead and go on, but ask yourself if you are to treat God this way, are you sure God will continue to be a blessing unto you. Sadly but understandably, the answer is no! Ask me, where is that man today, and what has happened to him? You will realize that this man is now struggling and can’t even find a place to put his head. How can a person have 900 million and then struggle in life? This is because you don’t know how to offer the right thing in God. If he had offered his tithes to the church, he would have enjoyed and more would have been added unto him. These are some of our mistakes that we have done in the past. I believe today I am imparting some power in you to sow the right seed and to have it well. Life is never going to be the same again as you are going to practice it. Say amen! This is because it will be painful to God, glory be to God that the church of God is still moving ahead. Don’t manipulate the ways of God, don’t look at the amount and say ‘’it is a very huge amount to offer unto God, let me use it for something else’’, then you put God second to your priorities. The moment you put God at the last and by all means God will also put you at the last. Later, meaning waiting. When you tell God to wait, he will also tell you to wait and you will realize that things will also start delaying. It is my prayer that you will come back and you will restore yourself and awoken yourself from the slumber and at the end of the day, you will see that God will be a great blessing to you. Don’t look at the amount you have and offer it, it does not matter; your today will not be the same as your tomorrow. Things will change for the better! You may be given a 100, 50, 9 million or an amount of money, at the end of the day, ask yourself how much are you going to offer to God as your tithe? Don’t let the greatness of the money withhold you from paying your tithes. Do not hesitate in your tithe giving. To be continued!!! RUN FOR YOUR SALVATION NOW!!!!!!!! Say this prayer; ‘’Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross to take away my sins. I am sorry for all the wrong things I have done. I ask you to please come into my heart and live in my heart forever. I am trusting you right now to make my heart clean and I take you to be my very own Lord and Saviour in Jesus’ name, Amen.
