GOLD BOOK WINNERS – Friday 3rd October RECEPTION: Ruby Mackay – For great work on sequencing the ‘Funny Bones’ story. Alesha Kenny – For a fantastic Skeleton picture. YEAR 1: Devon Campbell – For super effort in reading. Devon is so enthusiastic and is making great progress. YEAR 2: Charlotte Mitchell – For settling in to school brilliantly. She is a cheerful, polite and hardworking member of the class. Domas Baranauskas – For putting a lot of effort into Numeracy. He is trying really hard and is making good progress. YEAR 3: The whole of Year 3 – For making fantastic models of a tropical wilderness based on ‘The Croods’ topic. Mrs Vinter was impressed by the resourcefulness and effort of everyone! YEAR 4: Daisy Howley and Kaitlin Rogan – For working really well together in their 3D shape investigation. They had to make skeletons of 3D shapes using straws and Plasticene to find out the relationship between edges and vertices. YEAR 5: Rebecca Dickens, Millie Jones and Lloyd Campbell – For tackling this week’s homework with great accuracy and reasoning. YEAR 6: Elizabeth Pitchford and Tia Fraser – For great column addition in Maths this week. They have worked independently adding four digit numbers including carrying tens.
