***GOLDEN OLDIE IN DIRE NEED OF LOTS OF TLC & A BRAND NEW LOVING FUREVER HOME!!!*** **** FOUND TIED UP AT 11 YEARS OLD. CAN BE RESERVED ONLINE ***** Oldie Aureole was found in a NYCHA courtyard, all by herself, hanging loose and seemingly belonging to nobody…Although quite in a poor shape, Aureole, no doubt about it, had a home, shortly before she was found. Aureole is not skinny. She seems to have had her share of litters. Her teeth are spoiled, but after all she is 11 years old. Her coat suffers from dermatitis although it is clean. She walks at a slow pace , her breathing is noisy and there is a hint of a cough. She is rather cute , though and I bet she must have been a little rascal in her prime. I love the one patch circling her right eye. Aureole is a gentle and friendly gal. She has been around humans and dogs do not seem to bother her. She enjoys treats and even asks for more. She warms up as we spend more time together and stays by my feet for caresses. She has a very soft look on her face as she knows I am a friend . Really, an old gal like Aureole should not have been given this treatment. Left in the cold with no roof above her head, no coat on her shoulders and no food or water at bay….This is not where a senior belongs after so many years of service. It is not that easy to take care of the elderly, humans or pets alike but oldies deserve our respect, our care and love. I hope that Aureole can touch the heartstrings of a person sensitive and knowledgeable in vintage dogs and open his or her home to her
