GOOD EVENING and welcome back to Lena & Johns Really Rockin Reading! As promised, today we bring you spectacular guests JOE STRUMMER and LOU REED. We dont often get to do an early evening reading, so this is a treat – to read as the sun goes down and the stars come out! Lena: We begin with the TEN of WANDS. Perfect card for tonight, as it represents recharging at the end of the day. Be a little selfish and dont do much this evening aside from tending to your own needs. There is actually a great little distant energy healing taking place in a couple of hours and I highly recommend it, especially if youve had a particularly hectic day. JOE STRUMMER: Hello, everyone. I specifically chose THE MAGICIAN and this represents WILL-POWER and SELF-CONFIDENCE. Also, artistic ability. So in conjunction with Lenas first draw, I will recommend listening to and/or playing some good music on this beautiful night. Put down what you perceive as your “responsibilities” and make your only responsibility be for yourself. Photography is also recommended, as well as any creative endeavor. All of these serve to clear the mind and renew the soul. LOU REED: Hiya. Lena was questioning whether I had done a previous reading recently and I told her yes, that I had. And I was lying. I dont know why I do this, but its fun. But I DID tell a joke awhile back and jokes are a form of communication, so...whatever. I picked the THREE of PENTACLES. Also indicates POWER thru the ARTS. Lena is rehearsing in a little while and we love when she gets into it, so this should be a nice evening for everyone over here. Lena: Thanks, Lou. And that card also means RECEIVING MONEY from CREATIVE WORK, as well as honoring the Church of the Goddess. So this reinforces going for some type of healing ceremony this evening. Even just lighting a candle and some incense and laying your weary head down for 20 minutes will do wonders. Take deep breaths and decompress. John: I cant wait for rehearsal. (smiles) ACE OF PENTACLES is Johnnys draw! This is a fine card. This card is all about prosperity, not only earthly possessions, but faith-based. Theres a tremendous global shift taking place now wherein we really need to tune in and align with the outer energies. OPEN UP and RECEIVE GRACE is my message with this card. Grace comes in all forms. Once you open to it, you will know when you are receiving. Thank you. LOU: That was gorgeous, John. John, youre a heavy dude. John: Not really... (laughing) Just digging it all. JOE: Its all quite diggable! I love the cards. I got the FIVE of SWORDS next and it warns us to beware of enemies. Wow. Thats quite a switch-over, isnt it? Well, this is the thing. For all of the GOOD energy, were always gonna be up against not-so-good trying to bring us down, too. Which I guess is why the recharging thing is so important. Its not all airy-fairy, this world, its never all one-way. Good with the bad. But there are ways to protect ourselves and the more rested we are, the better our chances. So I guess this goes along with the other cards, after all. LOU: Our final card is the KNIGHT of WANDS. Now, were working with a new book of meanings today so Id like to take a crack at this. Here it speaks of a JOURNEY into the unknown in the form of a business advancement of some kind. Possibly the opportunity to travel thru your line of work. If this offer is presented to you, grab it.
