GOOD MORNING EARLY RISERS!!! Happy Monday morning to you!!! I had a wonderful weekend!!! When I got home Friday, we stopped by the neighbors for just a bit. There was some great neighborhood gossip about which we needed to catch up! And catch up we did!!! Then we came home, and Patti came out for a while. Since she got her new truck, shes not smoking in it. Shes using a vapor ciig, too. Hers is the kind that you pour the flavor in and mash the button as you inhale. She has vanilla, and it tasted pretty good. She doesnt want to get the smell of cigarettes, nor all of the ashes in her new baby girl as she calls her truck. She left the bottle of flavor here, so Len took it to her when he and some friends went to the gun show Saturday morning. So, I time alone on Saturday morning, so I watched MOVIES!!! I had just rented August: Osage County, when Len got home. He wanted to take a nap before the poker game that night. My TV in the den sits right behind his bed in the next room, and he kept telling me to turn it down. I did, but theres a lot of screaming and yelling in that movie, so it would get loud from time to time. I finally moved into the chair thats right next to the television, and watched it there, controlling the volume back and forth. Im sure that I would have enjoyed the movie more if Id just watched the whole thing again after he left for poker, but I didnt. He got up from his nap and cooked us a pizza. It was good, as usual. If you get a good frozen pizza, they are as good as a pizzeria pizza! After Lenny left for poker, at 5:30, I really got down on the movies!!! I found so many good ones to watch! I watched Stakeout, which Id seen years ago, but I liked it, and then Stakeout II came on, which I didnt even know about, so I watched it. Then a third movie came on, and I watched it! I cant remember the name of the movie, nor what it was about, because I was getting sleepy. I finally turned off the television about 11:15, and Lenny got home at 11:30, and then I went to sleep!! What a great movie night I had. Sunday afternoon, Patti and Dale came out, and fixed the DVD player cords so the we had audio with the video. Before, we had video and no audio. He brought the correct cord. So, after they left, I watched the two and a half hour movie, The Departed. Id never seen it, and it was an awesome movie, with an all star cast. I fully enjoyed the movie, but Len kept asking how much longer. He wasnt involved in the movie, and if you werent completely immersed in the characters, it would have been hard to follow. To me, Matt Daemon and Leonardo di Caprio look so much alike, and it was a bit confusing at first. However, I finally figured out which was which. One had chin hair, the other didnt. It was a great movie, and if you havent seen it, and you like crime drama, rent it. Jack Nicholson is a wonderful character, as always! Hes one of my all time favorite evil men!!! And, now its Monday morning, and its time for me to hop in the shower. I know that I didnt give any words of encouragement in my morning talk, but I will tell you that attitude is everything, and as you leave the house for work this morning, get your attitude in order and make it a great day. I suggest listening to some good old classic rock on the way to work. That just has to make anyone happy!!! Chatty, over and out! :)
