GOOD MORNING EARLY SATURDAY RISERS!!! Today is the day that we go to Jacksonville, and Im super excited!! Id be getting my shower already, but my stimulator battery gave the low signal, so Ive got the puck on my hip giving me a charge. Ill charge for awhile and then get my shower and finish the charge. Ive still got to measure out a weeks worth of meds. I have to do that every Saturday. Its a job that I simply hate!!! I loved all of the conversations that went on under my post yesterday. Most of it was about spooky cemeteries. Ill have Lenny with me though, and hes always packing, so I always feel safe and sound and never worry. Hes a good man with steady judgment. Marianne Lampo Ruffino, I liked what you said about these decisions being made while both parties are still alive. Lenny has a place next to his deceased wife, but there is no room next to him for me. Besides, that cemetery has changed, its now a historical cemetery, and it takes an act of congress to get a plot, or a family member who is a blood relative, with a blueblood lineage. That sux. Id like to talk him into being buried with me in Jacksonville. I have three plots. I need to check with the City Secretary on those plots to see exactly where they are in the family plot area. I made the arrangements to buy that many plots, but I think I ended up with the worst spaces. I think Im next to the street that runs through the cemetery. Oh well, that will give me a head start toward the Pearly Gates!!! Lenny and I do need to have a serious conversation about all of this. I wont live forever, but Im sure that he will. His parents both lived to be over 100!! My grandmother lived to be 101, but none of her children did. My cousin that she raised got a new heart at 70, and hes perfectly healthy otherwise. His heart was only 17 years old, so he may make it to the centennial mark!! Who knows, with my stupid body, I maky live to be 100, because I have no other health problems that my doctor or I are aware of. I did get a diagnosis off lumbar spondylitis, which did surprise me. I had asked my orthopedic surgeon if I had this disease and he told me no, because people like that walked with their neck bent way over. I dont walk like that, yet some doctor put that as my diagnosis, and the way these doctors in the St Josephs Health System are hooked up, everything shows to each doctor. Spondylitis is when your spine just caves in and you cant breathe. That little bit of news surprised me, and I dont believe it. Actually, I just choose to ignore it until one of my doctors has a serious conversation with me about it. My spine does make noise when I move. Everything squeaks. Ive been told that its the hardware squeaking. Thats good enough for me. Im just going to enjoy life until theres no more of me left!!! Now, I simply must get my meds measured and begin the ritual of getting myself ready to travel. I want to look especially precious for my family tonight!!! Have a great weekend, yall!!! Chatty, over and out!! :)
