GOOD MORNING FRANKLIN LOVERS! 40s this morning. Chance of rain showers arrives this afternoon. Cloudy and breezy with highs in the 50s. Clouds and temperatures in the 40s as we start our Monday morning. Chance of a few showers develops around midday in Nashville (a little earlier to the west and south) while a gusty southeast wind lifts readings to the upper 50s. Keep the umbrella handy as occasional rain will dampen things this afternoon through tonight before the showers exit early Tuesday morning. On Tuesday, we can’t rule out some additional showers. Highs will approach 60 degrees as a south breeze continues (it won’t be quite as strong as today’s winds, though). Tuesday night into Wednesday another round of widespread showers crosses the Mid-South, so be prepared for more rain. Temperatures will start in the low 50s Wednesday but fall through the 40s and into the upper 30s by the late afternoon as a northwest wind develops. There could even be some flurries around late Christmas Eve day and night, although no travel issues are expected and no snow accumulation is in the forecast. Christmas morning looks breezy and cold, in the low 30s, but highs that afternoon will reach the upper 40s with sunshine. Friday looks dry and in the 50s.
