GOOD MORNING MURFREESBORO! HOT AND HUMID INTO THE WEEKEND A string of days in the mid-to-upper 90s impacts Middle Tennessee through the weekend. A big ridge of hot high pressure will dominate the South to give us the hottest weather of the summer. There will be just enough low-level relative humidity under the ridge to warrant a 10%-20% afternoon thunderstorm chance this weekend. Most of the time, however, it will be dry. Drink plenty of fluids, preferably water, to combat the heat. Take frequent breaks if your job has you outside from mid-morning through late afternoon. If possible, stay in the air conditioning as much as you can. Stay cool! Thanks to Lee Company for todays weather!
