GOOD MORNING MURFREESBORO! HOT AND MUGGY TODAY, EVEN HOTTER TOMORROW THROUGH NEXT WEEK Mostly cloudy weather early this morning will yield a couple of isolated showers. The chance of rain in your backyard is around 10% during the daytime. The bigger story is the building heat. Highs hit 90 degrees this afternoon in many locations but the humidity will make it feel like the low and mid 90s. The shower and thunderstorm chance picks up to 30% after midnight through the day on Wednesday as some energy drifts south from Kentucky. After that the rain chances go down the rest of the week. Well see some of the hottest weather of the summer Wednesday through the weekend and into early next week. Temperatures soar to the upper 90s by the weekend when the heat index approaches 105°.
