Nana, needless to remind you of your words at the palace when Nana Addo visited your palace on his campaign tour in 2012 as well as the caution you threw to Hon Joe Ampomah when he decided to contest as an independent parliamentary candidate after he lost the primaries to Teacher Amoah of Akim Achiase and subsequently Osei Kennedy when the constituency was divided. Those words I simply cannot repeat here. But Nana dont you think you and your Kyebi cohorts have no moral rights whatsoever to demand development from this government ? Do you remember what that Catch Lion or Kyeretwie chief of Kyebi did against the NDC in the 2008 and 2012 elections? This is not to suggest the NDC will deny you of development but instead I want you to understand that it does not lie in your mouths to call on the president to bring development to your end. The President appreciate the support he enjoyed from his fans in the eastern region and will surely reciprocate their gesture with unbridled development , ebti wode3 so abotr3. But Nana dont you think if you keep doing the PR work of your party this way you end up exposingthe weakness of your party? Hackman Owusu Aguemang, Dan Botwe, Osafo Marfo, Yaw Barimah, Felix Owusu Agyepong, Nana Akuffo Addo, Hon Akwasi Osei Ameyaw, Cecilia Obeng Dapaah, etc were all ministers in the 8 yrs of NPP. So if the argument of poor roads you advancingis anything to go by, then it speaks volumes of the underperformance of your government . Nana, kindly let us zero in to our backyard again please. For 8 yrs, Osafo Marfo and Felix Owusu Agyapong who hail from Akim Kotoku(oda) and Akime Bosome(Swedru) areas of the eastern region were no minnows in NPP. Nana can we please put the spotlight on roads development during their time and compare it to that of Hon Akyem Appiah Kubi, the only son from your area who has been appointed by the NDC in our 6 yrs ? The major road networks in our area are the Akyem Oda to Agona Swedru and Akim Oda to Akim Swedru road that leads to Achiase, continuing and branching to aperade and Asikuma. The Oda - Agona Swedru road was handed to the NPP in 2001 in a perfect shape. The. Oda - Achiase road was also handed to you in perfect shape. Akim Achiase to Aperade to Assin Foso was in a deplorable state before NPP took over but we came to meet it in a more deplorable state and we have started working on it in lots . The Oda - Breman Asikuma road was also in good shape prior to your coming but Nana what do we see after your 8yrs? Akim Achiase to Akim Anyinam - Bieni - Akroso junction?? Nana, your people after 8 years only left the road in tatters. Akim Oda to Nkwanta road was on construction prior to 2001 , credit given to the NPP for completion of the road after taking over. A few streets in Akim Oda were also tarred by Osafo Marfo.Folks this id the track record of the NPP in Nanas backyard . Ending , I will think Nana got it wrong this time around. Again, it is quite ironic for Chiefs to shield their own and disown others. If truly they want to serve as prompters to governments to be on their toes, then I suggest they must do that without displaying bias. .... Long live Akim Bosome Traditional Area ....
