GOOD NEWS! Great job by Officers Berrman, Hill, Faber and Hoke gathering witness statements, collecting physical evidence, and effecting the arrest of David Ray Woolridge Jr., age 25, of Roanoke. Officers found him hiding in the 1600 block of Wayne Street NE late Monday night. Dispatchers received a 911 call to that area after a citizen saw a suspect rummaging through a neighbors vehicle. Officers found evidence linking Woolridge to that theft from vehicle case and charged him with felony larceny. Officers took him to the Roanoke City Jail. Also good work by the citizen for calling 911 when they saw something suspicious.
