GOOD NEWS!!!! The process was difficult but the results are in: LEDC’s membership, board and staff, is pleased to congratulate the students, Maria Sanchez Lopez who will be receiving the “George W Linares scholarship”, Josseline Lopez, who will be receiving the “Ramiro Hernandez Marquez Scholarship”, Karen Lopez Soto who will receive the “Garcia- Urzua Scholarship”, Yosmeiri Abreu Morillo who will receive the “Manuel Guerrero scholarship”. Also, students Jesus Bermudez Martinez, Luis Vargas Leana, and Sebastian Lakenen will receive the LEDC’s scholarship. All of the scholarships will be in the amount of $3,000 each. Please join us on congratulate them at the annual meeting of the membership of LEDC on May 14, 2014 @ Los Ocampo Restaurant in East St. Paul (1751 Suburban Ave) from 5 to 8 Pm. We also wish to THANK the scholarship selection committee for reviewing applications and selecting recipients. Lastly we thank everyone who participated in the process, as well as for your dedication to our community.
