GOOD SAMARITAN HOSPITAL SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband just had a tumor removed from his frontal lobe, goes to Surgical Intensive care, they put him on the bed & THATS IT. Nobody explained, the nurse call button, t.v.remote, food(which PATIENT has to call), NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I said to the nurse,what are we supposed to know this via thin air? Then it gets better, my husband is in obvious pain, was prescribed pain medicine and the nurse said to try TYLENOL LIQUID IN IV because she didnt want to give him Morphine and then have to wake him up to evaluate him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ended up sleeping in the room with him out of fear that they wont care for him.This morning when they changed his bed and hospital gown they removed his phone and tv remote to the corner of the room & left it there, I guess they expected my husband to discontect his tubes and go get them. This is supposed to be a Special care unit and I have never seen and ENTIRE GROUP of nurses with NO compassion at all. If you want to be a nurse your job is to CARE for your patients. I would not bring my dog to this hospital and I have a cat.
