GOOD SATURDAY morning one and all. Well I had myself a good night of rest and my coffee today, so I am up and looking for trouble to get myself into. Anybody got any for me? LOL Been watching the news some this morning and just got a good chuckle. Seems a Canadian weather man was minding his own business doing the weather when the huge pet of the day adoption dog, decided he wanted to play nice with the weatherman so the dog was jumping all up on the weatherman making his professional job on live TV hard to do, but extremely interesting. Funny thing was that the dog was like a huge Lab and as tall as the weatherman on his hind legs. I love it when animals or young children steal the show. Good one pup. Then the news showed a 5 week old darling puppy that was found in the pocket of an arrested drug addict; so the police locked up the drug addict, confiscated the puppy, named him Pocket and were showing him on TV as being up for adoption. The puppy is just precious. Police officers do so much more that what the general public is aware of, so much goes on behind the scenes, and the abuse they take on a daily basis is NOT worth the ridicule and judgement they receive or the meager pay they take home. I talked with Gray yesterday, late, to see how Rayleigh was doing. Seems she is snapping back into shape right fast like. Gray, has a few little ones that she picks up for working parents after school, plus her own children. Yesterday, she said the car pool line was especially long at West and the kids inside the car were giving her a fit, so finally the spotted her oldest son, Austin, and there he stood not paying attention but rather talking to his buddies, so Paxten rolls down the window and yells out Austin, over here, here we are Austin, come on, here we are to which Austin turns to see his baby brother yelling out the window at Middle school and his face turned beet red. You know how teens get embarrassed so easily at us family members that dont seem to know how to act. Austin just shook his head and headed towards the car. Poor Paxten, he found his brother among all those bobbing heads and he was trying to help him locate the car, but it embarrassed Austin. GOD bless that little kid for he is like a little man and has more brains than most any child his age, he is sooo freaking smart, has a huge vocabulary, is self-motivated to learn all he can, loves to do homework, and makes up more homework than he actually has to do. Paxten is one of the most unusual children I have ever seen and he amazes us all daily That kid is really going to be something special one day in this old world, and I hope I live long enough to see what he becomes. Pax says he is going to be an Allergy doctor and fix this issue for all little kids and on the side (LOL) Pax plans to be a construction worker and build things like his Pa. He is a thinker if there ever lived one. The only thing about him that I can see myself in, is that he says exactly what is on his mind, something before he thinks, and he dont give a flip about it either, he speaks his mind. Well folks, what we going to do about this Ebola and now IsIs has taken to the skies, so GOD help us all. BEWARE: with Halloween items on the market PLEASE be careful with these face tattoos from China that you apply to your childs face. One little girl had a peacock eye tattoo applied to her eyes by her parents and it was so cute on the child; however she had severe burns on her eyes when removed. There was no warning and nothing in the ingredients that would cause alarm, so PLEASE be careful and use good judgement when using products on your child s skin, especially around eyes and such. I say it every year, so Ill say it again, I HATE Halloween, always have, and wish it was outlawed. Stick with cute outfits, not blood and scary things on your little ones, and let them go to church functions or a friends private party, but to turn them loose on the streets, going to doors they do not know, is a thing of the past. Monsters, violence, bloody items, well I just do not believe in them and so wish them off the market. I cannot even go down the isles of many local department stores this time of the year as it just breaks my heart and sickens me and some wonder what is wrong with some teens? My mother-in-law and I were just talking yesterday about the TV shows we have to choose from now. Violence seems to set the trend. When I was a child I Love Lucy was a show that we had to look at, among many. Even then, TV would not allow Lucy and Dessi to be in the same bed, so twin beds were on the set. For years they could not kiss on TV, even though they were really married. We had Father Knows Best, Andy Griffith, Hazel, Doris Day Show, so man good wholesome shows where examples were set and lessons were learned in each show. Now we have nothing left to the imagination on TV, even on the daytime shows, we have nothing but violence to choose from, or TV shows that actually will instruct an already half-evil person on lessons and steps to take to accomplish their evil missions or puts ideas into the heads of our young. That new show that comes on Madam Secretary well I was excited about that one and watched it twice myself and it actually portrays what is really going on in the WH, and just changes the names, however; again it gives ideas, and it shows vulnerability to our homeland, which I think might not be such a good idea. Its a great show, wonderful acting, but I just wonder....is this really a good idea? I declare...what happened to good shows, where are the examples for our young, where is the family unit in all these shows we have to look at? Well, enough from me preaching on my soapbox. I declare I just get myself so knotted up and worked up over life matters. Perhaps I just need to head on down to the White House and see what I can do to whip things into shape. No telling what I would have us all doing. One thing for sure, I would clearly send the military to seal up the boards with shoulder to shoulder and tank by tank lined up keeping folks out, and I would clearly stop all flights from foreign Ebola infected areas from NOT traveling here, I would quarantine people returning to the USA for 30 days prior to flying either way, and I would stop vacations to countries that do not comply with the USA, like our Marine sitting in a Mexican jail, I would shake up the government and fire folks left and right and certainly not give a raise to those that have clearly lied to us all (Susan Rice, Eric Holder,(yes I know he stepped down) Harry Reid) and the list goes on and on and Hillary is at the top of the list for Benghazi is on her plate and Obamas as well, I would give raises to the Whistle blowers and perhaps a medal of honor to them for having the guts to tell it like it really is, and I might even lower the fence that surrounds the WH and feed the dogs really good, I might cancel all fundraisers and close all golf facilities for approx. 2 years and drain the battery or gas out of all the golf carts, I would ground Air Force One and that Helicopter, and band the use of our Marines from holding umbrellas on rainy days and tell the president to hold his own, to stand-down, and destroy all Styrofoam cups from the hands of a President, I would teach what the flag means and I would setup a saluting school for our men and women that deserve the salute from our President so he will know how its done, I would teach the First Lady a few manners such as: no cussing allowed, how to smile at all and not just certain religions, I would teach both the President and his wife which hand you place over your heart and just what that flag does mean!, I would cut off funding to all members of the WH staff and all others involved for such elaborate vacations on tax-payers dollars, or gladly fund them all a one-way ticket to West Africa or Liberia and let them suit-up and have at it. I would allow the WH to join the JV team that he says is not a problem and perhaps let them fly him wherever he wishes to fly, since that JV team has now gone airborne. I would let our present IRS handle his finances and let Obamacare be his personnel and up most healthcare provider. I guess that would be enough for my first day on the job, that ought to get a few things fixed.....ugh
