GOP political strategy: 1. Destroy Obama. 2. Talk about Benghazi. Destroy Obama. 3. Scream about ISIS. Destroy Obama. 4. Yell Ebola morning, noon and night. Destroy Obama. 5. For lack of anything else, Destroy Obama. 6. Condemn health care, condemn immigration reform, ridicule climate science, promote creationism, and prayer, strive to undo Social Security. Destroy Obama. Sorry Gang, but in my 70 years of life, since my political awakening in my middle teens, Ive never seen this kind of malignancy at work. In such times as these, we need bi-partisan efforts. The Dems, to their credit, and sometimes to their discredit, are mostly ready to join hands, or at least, to walk, across the aisle. But the GOP has no interest whatsoever in this nation, its people or its future. But only in destroying Obama. What with FAUX News, and a host of crazies, millions of Americans have been duped by the GOP message. Lets face it; while the Dems were hooting and tooting an uncertain song, the GOP is clear and crisp and to the point: Everything is wrong, nothing works, its all broken. And its Obamas fault. Though I fear for the wellbeing of the nation, it should be interesting to see if any GOP leaders can come up with something other than nonsense about climate change, environmental issues, global concerns, poverty, the rights of women and children, health care and social security, the need to create GOOD jobs, with benefits and providing decent, well-rounded, education for all of Americas children. We shall see ... but I can already predict: With a man as immature as Boehner at the helm, and a goofy old man like Mitch whos lives in a KY coal bin, it cant be good for anyone ... except their handlers: the 1%.
