GOSPEL OF ST MATTHEW 5,1-12a Solemnity of All Saints - Sunday 03 - November - 2013. Blessed ... Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven. On the feast of All Saints, we are invited to turn our gaze to the high and behold a multitude of holy men and women who have left deep scars of your love to God here on earth, and now participate in His glory in heaven! AND SEEING THE MULTITUDES, he went up into a mountain, and when he was set down, his disciples came unto him. And opening his mouth, he taught them, saying: Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are the meek: for they shall possess the land. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. The poor in spirit: That is, the humble; and they whose spirit is not set upon riches. Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice: for they shall have their fill. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the clean of heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called children of God. Blessed are they that suffer persecution for justice sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake: Be glad and rejoice, for your reward is very great in heaven. En la fiesta de Todos los Santos, se nos invita a dirigir la mirada a la alta y he aquí una multitud de hombres y mujeres santos que han dejado profundas huellas de su amor a Dios aquí en la tierra, y ahora participamos en su gloria en el cielo! Y VIENDO LAS GENTES, subió al monte; y sentándose, se llegaron á él sus discípulos. Y abriendo su boca, les enseñaba, diciendo: Bienaventurados los pobres en espíritu: porque de ellos es el reino de los cielos. Bienaventurados los que lloran: porque ellos recibirán consolación. Bienaventurados los mansos: porque ellos recibirán la tierra por heredad. Bienaventurados los que tienen hambre y sed de justicia: porque ellos serán hartos. Bienaventurados los misericordiosos: porque ellos alcanzarán misericordia. Bienaventurados los de limpio corazón: porque ellos verán á Dios. Bienaventurados los pacificadores: porque ellos serán llamados hijos de Dios. Bienaventurados los que padecen persecución por causa de la justicia: porque de ellos es el reino de los cielos. Bienaventurados sois cuando os vituperaren y os persiguieren, y dijeren de vosotros todo mal por mi causa, mintiendo. Gozaos y alegraos; porque vuestra merced es grande en los cielos.
