GOV ROTIMI AMAECHI’S RATTLING NOISE OF A SINKING COWARD. Scene; Port Harcourt Native Fashion Exhibition Closing Ceremony. He lost it several months ago when he started his “Egbekegbe” political miscalculation before, during and after the Governor’s Forum Saga. The organizer of the show and everybody present including we the TV audience at home were taken aback and shocked when Gov Amaechi being the governor of the host state was given an opportunity to give his closing remark, he did not talk about how he was going to assist the local fashion designers and creative artists present in the hall to boost their trade and improve on their skills, he did not talk on how he was going to reduce unemployment by engaging the youths in entrepreneurship by encouraging small scale industries and establishing textile and fashion trade. He did not talk about the way forward for young Nigerians who are anxious to attain the height of their potentials, he did not give speech that would inspire the creative minds of his listeners but instead, he started rattling about his ill fated political adventures by giving out graphic details of his campaigns and ambitions through the New “PDP” political vagabonds. As I said earlier, he did not tell us how he came into the seat of power instead he arrogantly started narrating how he came to restore peace in the state with the help of the former commissioner of police and how he lost the peace without the cooperation of his estranged present commissioners of police. Unfortunately, he goofed by condemning his imaginary enemies both in the state and the presidency for their failure to let him have access to his share of the oil money and all sorts of nonsense. However, he did not make mention of the peace process the amnesty programs initiated by the Federal Government and some good citizens of the Niger Delta region. Let’s ask him how was he able to bring about peace he was talking about? Too bad Gov Rotimi Amaechi. Have you forgotten you won your election through proxy? In actual fact, the power that aided your undeserved victory is unfortunately, the power you are fighting today. Your dream of becoming the Vice President of Nigeria come 2015 is understandable, but you have lost it already to your overzealousness and over ambitious antics and nothing would make you come out of this sinking boat loaded with your co-voyagers in both the ‘New PDP’ and the opposition parties. You have committed political suicide, Gov Amaech. With or without you, Nigeria will survive and nothing would make your dream of disintegrating our country would come true.
