GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH SOCIAL WELFARE DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION Rc.No.D3/2456/2013 Dt.9.07.2013 Applications are invited for grant of Rs.10.00 lakhs as financial assistance to SC students who are desirous of pursuing higher studies in professional courses like Medicine/Engineering/Pharmacy/ Nursing/ pure Sciences/ Humanities/Social studies, etc. in Foreign Universities. Eligibility: • Candidate should belong to SC community & should be native of State of Andhra Pradesh. • Total family income should not exceedRs.2.00 lakhs per annum. • 1st class marks in Graduation is compulsory for pursuing PG studies abroad. • 1st class marks in PG.is compulsoryfor pursuing Ph.D studies abroad. Registration: • Interested students shall apply in epass.cgg.gov.in from 15-7-2013 in prescribed format along with documents. • 1st batch of registration shall close on 10-8-2013. The registered students shall be shortlisted for grant of scholarship by a State Level Selection Committee headed by the Principal Secretary, Social Welfare.
