GOVERNMENTS ROLE IN AVERTING ECONOMIC VENGEANCE IN TRADE CIRCLES; DEVELOPMENT AND EMPLOYMENT FROM SOVEREIGN CONSUMERS (NIGERIANS UNDER SUBSIDY). Our economic disadvantage has affected the unemployed and those who earn little income to the extent they cant influence production activities, our political economy is consequently a deviation from the so-called democratic model of one-man-one-vote, but a conformity to a one-naira-one-vote system. The roles of government is expansive beyond (1) ensuring internal peace and order via its maintained apparatuses, creation of the necessary adminstrative, judicial and police force. (2) protection of its sovereignty from external aggression; and (3) social overheads (public utilities operandi). Indeed, governments intervention is imperative inorder to assuage the pains of abject poverty and the attendant social unrest.
