GPS (Global Positioning System) Some Basic Facts about GPS that You Would have not known : * The GPS device which we have in our vehicle or to which we have access in only the receiver. Where as The Satellite is the transmitter. * GPS doesnt need net connection to work.(Net connection is for sync GPS with MAPS). * It not only gives the info of latitude and longitude but also Speed in 3 Dimension, Altitude, Real Time( Accurate upto 1 micro second based on receiver device), Total no. of visible satellite, Validity of the data being received, Signal strength of data, Date ,Heading Angle from the earths magnetic field(Magnetic compass), Device position in Land , sea or Air.
