GPS Tracker for sale. Minimal documentation! Arrived here directly from China! Now that 24 is back on the air, maybe you want to feel like Jack Bauer – I won’t judge! It has already been setup and is ready to go, I can give you the jist of how it works and a cheat sheet Ive put together. Basically, the tracker is a small box that has a cell phone card in it. You send it a text message, and it replies with a lat/long location with a link to google maps showing you right where it is. It connects to a 12v system -- so a car battery or ATV/motorcycle. I’d like $80 for it, which includes a working SIM and phone number and 2 months of texting service left (expires 7/16/2014). We used it as a theft tracking device for an ATV. Full disclosure, I spent $50 to get it here, but the real value is in that it actually works – which is no small feat, considering how there is no documentation and activating a prepaid “phone” is all done through cellphones themselves nowadays, you can’t imagine how long I spent on the phone trying to get hold of someone who could activate the SIM card for me at the cell provider. Its activated on 7-11s service (speak out wireless). Speakout is cheap and also the only one after 3 hours of calls that could actually activate a SIM card over the phone. The phone number can be topped up just using your Visa/MasterCard right on their website, so no calling in and trying to explain your adding funds to a GPS tracker and all the run around that brings.
