GRAMBLING RAMBLING: BIBLE STUDY! Made it to Bible study on time (kind of)! I came in during the quiet music period. But this is what I learned. First, as an aside, God actually gave man more than 70 something years to live. The 70 something comes from Moses; God said 120 years! I did not know this. So those of you who want to be here 120 years, you have the Biblical authority to do so. But this is the important stuff: 1) Everyone is going to have a time or times of trial during life. Everyone! 2) Our challenge is to persevere during those times. 3) Our faith is what enables us to preserve. 4) Our faith is strengthened by hearing, reading, and studying Gods Word (The Bible). 4) Our testimony of making it through a trial helps others. Wonderful lesson! Also, if you think about it, since everyone is going to have a period of trial, that also means that everyone is going to have a period of non-trial—a period of enjoyment. Now, thats a good thing! And you know what, these periods may come and go all within one day. So, keep going through the trial periods and enjoy the non-trial periods. In short, LIVE! Music. Food. Art. Movement (Dance or Exercise). A good book or movie. Travel. Conversation. Laughter. And other enjoyable moments. Ah, the beauty of life. Enjoy! And be sure to uplift someone else along the way!
