GRANADA WEATHER UPDATE Saturday 31st May 2014: Good morning and welcome to a glorious start to the day!!!.......Unfortunately we are going to see that change develop into the afternoon and by this evening rain is expected to be pushing down from the North into much of Granada. The weather models are predicting thunderstorm activity and heavy rain as we go through the night tonight and into Sunday Morning so just in case its significant weather, take the time this morning to re-check drains, water channels/run-offs, stow those awnings and any light garden/terrace implements/furniture that may move if a squally storm does pass over you!!!......At this time AEMET have issued an Alert for Malaga even though the weather models show Granada to have the most so we are keeping a watch on any sudden change and as always will update you!!!......Into Monday and its back to fair weather and I will disappear again until something of note on the weather arises although you will get an update in the morning tomorrow!!!.......Now, as this weather moves in please do post your observation (i.e its raining) but dont forget to say where you are giving reference to a local town as opposed to some far off casino that only the very locals would know......Have a good day and stay safe!!!......Jim Fraser for the Local Fire & Weather Watch Network
