GRANADA WEATHER UPDATE Thursday 29th April 2014: Good bright and breezy morning Granadians!!!.......As promised, whilst a weather threat remains we resort back to a daily weather update just to keep you up to speed on the outlook!!!......I open with the word breezy above because along the coast and on mountain high it could be blowing a gale in places today........could even see a stiff breeze up the Lecrin Valley and across the far North of the Province but the good news is that sun!!!........Other than light cloud, your day should be full of Rays.......unless your married to one then youve probably had enough of them!!!.........Quickly moving on; tomorrow, Friday, is looking rather nice too and then come Saturday is when we start to see clouds with them building as the day progresses and by late afternoon that risk of rain starts to climb!!!.......As it stands the weather models are the usual mixture of Cant make ones mind up but the general consensus is that through the night Saturday/Sunday and into Sunday day we are looking at Moderate to Heavy rainfall and risk of localised thunder storms!!!.........I will await the usual updates that occur during today on those weather charts and continue to update you on this thread on that very subject, but at this time I would refrain from organising any garden parties if I was you just in case!!!........As we go into next week, Monday is likely to remain cloudy but with the sun poking through with risk of showers in the morning remaining, and at this time, Tuesday is looking mighty fine!!!.........Needless to say, if we do see this inclement weather move in the night time temperatures will feel chilly.........Have a good day folks and stay tuned for updates.........Oh, And one more thing; this group is only two members shy of the 500 mark........Go on, be a devil and invite your friends in the area on board!!!...........Jim Fraser for the Local Fire & Weather Watch Network :)
