GRAND CANYON ROCK--NEAR & FAR!!! This is a capture I took in July, 2014, while visiting the west-end section of the Grand Canyon (i.e., near Las Vegas, Nevada). However, a thunderstorm was approaching, which actually prohibited visitors from entering the Skyward overlooking the Canyon, but provided an even better photographic experience. In any case, I tried to make the best of my photographic experience. Most people think that inclement weather is not a good time to take photos. Actually, inclement weather provides an excellent photo opportunity! I hope this pic helps in making that point.
