GRAND NEWS !! Today was the turn of another Care Home, thats 18 done 2 to go ! I delivered sensory oils and a space projector for the relaxation room, they get a lot of pleasure out of that im told. The smell box delivers aromas of freshly cut grass, leather and other reminders of happy days gone by. The lady on the right is Jean, she was so quiet. The other lady is Pat, she was so tiny and frail. When i asked how old she was she said she didnt know, i thought she was about 98. When i left i held out my hand to shake and she did too, her hand was so tiny like that of a child and her skin was so thin i could almost see through it :( I shook her hand and it was ice cold and mine was red hot so i kept hold of her hand till it warmed up, she was so lovely, once she will have been the hub of her own home with her children and husband and now she has Dementia, this disease is so cruel :( When i left i was upset to find out she is only 82, bless her x
