GRANT COMPLIANCE & QUALITY - NATIONAL MANAGER This is your opportunity to use your project management talents to help improve the lives and futures of children living in poverty in Papua New Guinea. Grant Compliance & Quality - National Manager along with the Senior Grants Manager and the National TB Program (NTP), will be responsible for providing technical support and coordination for the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Principal Recipient Global Fund (GF) activities based on the approved grant. This position is also responsible for ensuring the development of area based sustainability and phase out strategies. As well as, coordinating with all sub-recipients (SRs) and partners to ensure full compliance with the GF grant contract and its stated outcomes. This position will also be expected to liaise with government agencies involved in eradicating or treating tuberculosis to build collaborative relations that support the achievement of the grant outcomes. In doing all the above they should collaborate closely with World Vision Papua New Guinea (WVPNG), GF, Local Fund Agent (LFA), Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM), NTP partner agencies, Provincial Health Offices, Academia and other local partners for the smooth operation of GF grant. We are looking for a visionary leader who can combine strong business disciplines with inspirational leadership skills in line with our values and ethos. You will have a passionate desire to help others, especially children. Responsibilities include: • Facilitates the day-to-day implementation and operations of the project in coordination with the different partners and Provincial Coordinators. • Coordinates and collaborates with LFA, SRs, GF and NTP to ensure quality reports, performance, policies, protocols and standards are met. • Provide (Ad-hoc) technical inputs in GF related projects (proposal writing and indicator setting). • Implements quality assurance mechanisms to ensure the program operates at its most effective in order to meet program outcomes. Required skills include: • Graduate of allied medical/social science from a recognized college with focus on communicable diseases or health promotion, preferably on tuberculosis. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in management of health interventions, development work preferably in the Pacific context. • Demonstrated ability to develop and write detailed technical project proposals meeting donor requirements. • Good computer skills and proficient in MS Office Applications • Ability to effectively negotiate with donors, liaise and coordinate with government, local NGOs and community initiatives. • Experience managing or providing financial advice to sub-recipients or contracts under grants for complex projects.
