GRATITUDE FROM A CHILD One of my member which is still in the Sunday school decided to save her biscuit money for me, each time she comes back from school with the money and the mom wants to collect it from her, she will refuse and tell her mum that is for someone. The mom became surprised a little child already knows the meaning of giving and she became desperate to know who she wants to give that little biscuit money to. On Sunday as they were coming to church, the child ran to me and brought out five naira (the lowest denomination in Nigerian currency) and gave to me. I was shocked as much as her mom, it was after then that the mom told me the ordeal her little girl has passed through to save and give me that money. Though it was little but that was the best gift I’ve ever received, I felt like keeping that money without spending it forever because those ordeals has made the money worth more than its stamped value. For they all contributed out of their abundance; but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, her whole living. Mark 12:44 When we give in our lack, we give a gift that touches the heart and will forever be remembered and our gifts will worth more than its stamped value. For the Lord will value it together with the pain it has cost us to give. The best time to give is in your lack because you give your lack and pain when you do. Don’t wait till you have the world, give you penny today and touch God’s heart with your gifts. God bless you.
