GREAT NEWS!!!!! on top of having a snow day full of laughter from two boys (3 if you count Steve having a snowball fight with Taggert). Spoke with our local Cardiologists nurse and she said Dr. Johnson has the results from the Cardiac Cath and has been talking with the Sibley Heart Center Doctors about Taggs heart over the past few days. They all have decided that Taggerts heart valve is stable enough despite the severe leak to hold off on the heart valve replacement at this time. As long as he continues to do ok they do not plan to do it anytime soon. We go back to see the cardiologist in 6 weeks for more testing and will be monitored every 3-6 months but this is amazing news! Plus, it gives us more time to re-apply for the secondary insurance and pull together the documentation our case worker suggested may help get an approval. Thank you all for your support, thoughts and prayers! Please keep them up and feel free to add that when it does need to happen it will at least be AFTER my Full Ironman Race this Fall....
