GREAT job to the Jersey Girls who came out to this mornings Open Water Swim Clinic. We had some challenging conditions, with lots of chop & some decent-sized surf to contend with. With that, when youre heading out into the surf, the easiest way to get through the waves is by going UNDER the whitewater, vs trying to swim through it (this is known as a duck-dive). This is a little video of my 9yr old son & I from earlier in the week, demonstrating proper duck-diving technique, on a day w/ some decent surf :-)
