GREEK ANTI-AUSTERITY COALITION TAKES POWER AFTER VOTE ---------------------------------------------------- Alexis Tsipras was sworn in as Greeces youngest prime minister in 150 years and was set to lead an anti-austerity coalition after a stunning election win that sent shockwaves through Europe. The new cabinet was expected to be announced and sworn in on Tuesday. At his swearing-in ceremony Tsipras broke with tradition by taking a civil instead of a religious oath. His first priority will be to deliver on his pledge to renegotiate the terms of the countrys €240-billion EU-IMF bailout despite universal opposition from Greeces European allies. The IMF extended an olive branch to the new Greek government, saying it was prepared to continue its financial support to the country. However, EU Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker warned that Greece cannot expect any reduction of its huge debt commitments.
