GREENSBURG, Ind.—Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews plan to repair pavement on westbound Interstate 74 at the 134 mile marker—just west of the State Road 3 overpass at Greensburg—next Tuesday (SEPT. 24) during daylight hours, weather permitting. Westbound I-74 traffic will be limited to a single lane (left lane) at the worksite. Meanwhile, the southbound S.R. 3 onramp to westbound I-74 will be closed during repair activities. INDOT advises motorists to use the westbound interstate ramp from U.S. Highway 421. INDOT personnel will remove a 40-foot section of failed concrete and replace it with three lifts of hot mix asphalt. Restrictions will be lifted when repairs have been completed later in the day.
