GREETINGS ....... ITS FRIDAY AND TODAY WE START SHARING A COUPLE OF THINGS THAT YOU DIDNT KNOW ABOUT THEM MUSHROOMS. George Zirro Harrison is his name. He goes by the stage name MR. EXTRA. This name came about because he traditionally goes an extra mile in whatever he does. Due to that extra factor, he goes by many nicknames, e.g. George Ma-chords, Mzungu wa Ngombe, George Saitoi, Baba Zirro, George kigari,etc. This guy is a blessed soul and a music genius. He plays the lead guitar, bass, guitar, keyboards, alto sax, tenor sax, trumpet, drums, congas, silver flute and is a great singer too. He amazingly learnt how to play the silver flute within 15 hours of practicing. He played the flute solo on the song Lala Salama on our first album barely a week after learning how to play the instrument.. To date, the band has done three versions of the song Kenya Hakuna Matata which is popularly known as Jambo Bwana, but for one reason or another, Mr Extra has not featured in any of them. He plays tenor sax on his composition titled Love, and its magical. GEORGE Mr EXTRA ZIRRO HARRISON ..... NOW YALL KNOW A TINY BIT OF HIM.
