GROUND BREAKING NEWS! On Sunday, June 29 following morning worship we will have ground breaking for the new church. This will be ceremonial as it may be 3 or more months before the big equipment arrives to truly move dirt. But this is our beginning! Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend morning worship at the Pigeon Gap location then head to 725 Steubenville Ave. for the brief ceremony to turn over the earth signifying our anticipated move back downtown where we will once again be in the heart of the city. Please invite friends, members of other churches and anyone interested in our future to attend. If you have a class or church friends or family members or a team that want to lift the shovel, let us know in the church office. There will be photos taken and a Jeffersonian article written. The service will begin at 12:15 p.m. on the old front steps then move to the East side where the new entrance will be located. May we come together to lift our thanks to God for allowing this to happen in our time and give us the opportunity to serve Him as He sees fit.
