GSG WACE RESULTS UPDATE GREAT SOUTHERN Grammar is proud to celebrate the success of its 2014 Year Twelve graduates. Of the Top 50 median ATAR schools ranked in WA, GSG listed 22nd and is the highest ranked country school in the state with a median ATAR of 83.35 (against the state average median ATAR score of 79.00). 40 GSG students sat WACE exams for their ATAR, with over 78% taking the most difficult Stage Three courses. GSG 2014 students had a 100 per cent graduation rate. Twenty three per cent achieved an ATAR of more than 90, placing them in the top 10 per cent of students nationally. Samuel Williamson, 2014 School Dux, was GSG’s top achiever with an ATAR score of 97.5. Brittany Allison, Brendan Talty, Nathaniel Seah and Michael Offerman all achieved ATAR scores of over 95, placing them in the top five per cent of students nationally. Brittany Allison is the first student to complete all of her schooling at Great Southern Grammar, having commenced at the school thirteen years ago, only two years after the school opened its doors. GSG VET students participating in Music, Hospitality and Business achieved Certificate II in their areas of study, enabling them to readily obtain full time work. GSG Headmaster Mr Stuart Marquardt said, We are very proud of the achievements of the Class of 2014. Our aim as a school is to provide students with the best possible opportunities for their future and these results represent the culmination of their hard work and our commitment to seeing every student reach their full potential.
