(GUARD YOUR SEEDS) “And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them;” (Judges 6: 3). In our Focal Scripture, whenever the Israelites had sown, the Midianites came against them. Whenever they planted seeds that should later give them a harvest, the Midianites made sure that the seeds didn’t yield their increase; in a bid to impoverish the Israelites, the Midianites came against Israel in their seed time. Seed time became attack time. Isn’t it true that most times, the enemy comes against us whenever we have a seed that will bring a harvest? When we hear the seed of God’s word, the enemy comes to steal the word; when we hear a prophecy from God, the enemy shows up with unbelief; when we are set for prayer, the enemy comes with distractions; when there are signs that something good is about to happen, the enemy arises to scuttle it; the enemy often turns our seed time into attack times. Friend, God says, guard your seeds. Don’t allow the enemy to steal your seeds; don’t allow the enemy to make you lose faith in Gods word; don’t allow the enemy stop you from praying; don’t allow the enemy to mess up your efforts and scuttle your good news or anything that will later give you a harvest; protect your seed from every satanic attack. If your seed is stolen, there won’t be any harvest. If you allow the enemy to take away your seed, you are simply getting ready to be empty handed in the time of harvest. If you allow the enemy to stop you from making An attack against your seed is a plan to make you empty handed in your harvest season; guard your seeds; don’t let the enemy steal your seed. James 4 vs. 7 counsels: “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Pray With Me: Lord, the enemy will not steal my seed, in Jesus’ name!
