GUINEA NEWS/The Minister of International Cooperation, Koutoubou Sanoh, this Monday, July 15 hosted a press conference to take stock of the activities of his department during the first half of 2013, it was attended. From the outset, the Minister Koutoubou Sanoh recalled that the action of the Ministry of International Cooperation in the first half of 2013 was part of the continuing implementation of the program of political, economic and social reforms carried out under the pulse of the President of the Republic, Pro.Alpha Conde. In this regard, he added, the department has developed which recorded significant achievements in the strengthening and diversification of cooperative relationships and partnerships with technical and financial partners and the world 2013 action plan of the company. In terms of resource mobilization, the minister said among other things that his department has mobilize USD 217 656 016, 850 577 916 631 GNF in the form of grants and non-refundable or about subsidies. "These resources have funded projects in the areas of good governance, water, health, energy, food security, youth employment," he advised. In the same vein, the Minister discussed the case of African integration. According to him, Guinea now has a voice in international institutions such as ECOWAS, the Mano River Union. According to him, this has been made possible thanks to the regular payment of contributions within these institutions. "These activities have allowed our country and its government to the extent of their commitment to African Integration and ideals underlying this integration are grouped according to the context in which they were held" he says. Finally, the Minister Koutoubou Sanoh concluded by saying that "in terms of performance, the department has completed 63.2 percent of shares registered in the first half of 2013 under its action plan, and could have done better if the various constraints including financial had not weighed on the implementation of the plan.
