GUITAR PLAYERS!! Which strings on electric guitars and gauges do you use and why? It doesnt have to be a scientific reason, Ill go first: I use Ernie Ball Super Slinky 10s mainly because my dad Orvil Fields got me playing Ernie Ball when I first started and I love the tone of them, plus they can withstand a lot, anyone who knows me knows that when I am playing that I can be heavy handed, and also do exotic things that strings are not normally subjected to, the Slinkys just can take more punishment than other strings like GHS and DAddarios. The main reason I use a ten gauge string is because I find its a nice balance between tone and playability,if you werent tagged I just forgot you nothing personal comment anyway, your turn: GO!
