GUNDAGAI Single Vehicle Accident About 1.55pm on Tuesday the 6/01/2015 a 19yr old male from Caldwell in the ACT was driving his Ford Falcon in a Northerly direction upon the Hume Highway approaching the Minga Creek Bridge. A witness stated the vehicle left the roadway and collided with the Eastern guard rail of the bridge and then drifted across and collided with the Western guard rail ejecting the driver from the vehicle. The ejected driver has slid along the roadway for approx 20mtrs before coming to rest on the Western edge of the road. The witness who was travelling behind the vehicle has narrowly missed colliding with the ejected driver before stopping and rendering assistance. The driver was conveyed to Wagga Hospital suffering minor bruising and gravel rash. Enquiries are continuing. BATLOW Stolen Vehicle Between 10am on Sunday the 4/1/2015 and 10am on Tuesday the 6/01/2015 unknown person/s have stolen a yellow Mitsubishi L300 Van from a residence in Forest Rd Batlow. YOUNG Malicious Damage Between 12pm on Friday the 2/1/2015 and 12pm on Monday the 5/01/2015 unknown person/s have damaged a toilet bowl in the mens toilet at Tout Park in Scenic Road at Young. A hole has been smashed in the side of the toilet and it appears the person/s have attempted to remove the bowl.
