GUYS PLS TAKE NOTE....... UNSETTLED AFTERNOON Central and south Trinidad is now feeling the effects of moderate to heavy showers and isolated, gusty thundershowers. These areas can expect gusty winds in excess of 50 km/hr with street/flash flooding expected in heavy downpours. Rainfall may amount to 30 millimeters, or greater in some locations. This adverse weather is due to favourable conditions of light winds, moist air and afternoon heat. Unsettled conditions may gradually improve towards evening as the day cools. Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological and ODPM advises “citizens to be vigilant and cautious as they conduct their daily activities given forecast weather conditions. Be alert to any electrical discharges from thundercloud activity. Adopt measures which would preserve life and property.” Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service strongly underscores that Trinidad and Tobago is not under any tropical storm threat, watch or warning at this time.
