Gabe Gabel Studio Garden of Artistry Show Cancelled March 10, 2014 Dear T., I am sending this out to not only our wonderful artists but also my mailing list so that all of you can adjust your schedule of art shows, whether you are an artist or collector, so many of you will be having questions. We will not be able to do the 2014 Garden of Artistry Show. I have been in pretty constant contact with last years manager Kevin as we both waited to see what the owners finally decided to do. Kevin is no longer associated with the garden center. The Ponderay Garden Center is now under completely new management. All the former employees are gone. Most of the activities put on by the garden center have at this time been cancelled. The new management may re-instate some of them but so far nothing has been said to me. This change has nothing to do with us. Last years management and employees enjoyed working with all of us and helping with the art show. I am so proud of the show that all of you helped us to create. We heard so many good comments from the public, the City of Ponderay was delighted with us. We did good, people! And T and I cant thank all of you enough for your efforts making the show the beautiful experience that it was. In a couple of years I am certain we would have been firmly on the art world map as a fantastic dont miss show. The cancellation of the show had absolutely nothing to do with anything we did or did not do. You all are the greatest! Thank you for your support and your faith in T and me. Having said that, if we ever find another venue to do anther fine art show, youll all be hearing from me again. And yes, we are looking. (I had been looking since the loss of the site of the first Sandpoint area show years ago.) I hope someday we can call you again.
