Galatasaray Summer Camp Schedule The camp schedule for the Galatasaray professional football team prior to the next football season begins on Monday, July 1 at the Florya Metin Oktay Facilities. Then on July 8 the Champion Yellow-Reds are flying to Birmingham, United Kingdom for an eight- day camp at the St George’s Park National Football Center. During the camp days Galatasaray will play two friendly games with two English teams: July 13 Saturday Shrewsbury Town v. Galatasaray July 16 Tuesday Notts County v. Galatasaray Following the second match Galatasaray will return to Istanbul on July 20 and then fly to Izmir the next day for another friendly game there. (The other team will be announced later.) On July 22 Galatasaray football team is leaving for Bled, Slovenia to continue summer camp and will be back on July 28 following one more friendly game to be played there. On August 2 Galatasaray will be flying for London to participate at the Emirates Cup tournament hosted by Arsenal F.C. The game schedule is as follows: August 3 Saturday 2:00pm BST Galatasaray v. FC Porto August 4 Sunday 4:20pm BST Arsenal v. Galatasaray Finally Galatasaray returns to Istanbul to continue its preparations for the 2013 TFF Super Cup derby versus Fenerbahçe on Sunday August 11.
