Galatians 2:19 by the law I am dead ..... , This is NOT referring to the written Law of Yahweh . Most people unfamiliar with Hebraic thought automatically assume that when they see the word Law in the new covenant , then it must mean Old covenant Mosaic Law . Of course , this is not true. Why ? Because in Pharisaic and rabbinic circles , Law is ALSO the oral torah of the rabbinites , which are their binding legal traditions hung on the Written Torah of Moses . In other words , law is the term used for BOTH the Written Law and the supposed oral law of the rabbinites . Only a study of context will tell you what Paul is referring to .
