Galatians 5:16-17 Man constantly lives under the pull of a sinful nature because he has a sinful nature (it is natural for him). But God says live by the Spirit which is in conflict with our sinful nature. It is in conflict because in the Spirit there is no sin. God defines sin through His Word and God does not tolerate sin. God doesn’t say “well, it’s just a little sin and after all, it is only natural for man to sin so I’ll just look the other way this time”. Verse 17 says if we did not have the conflict, we would only do what we want – continually live in sin. Why do we live in conflict? Because we do not walk in the Spirit. How do we continually walk in the Spirit? We cannot by our own means, we must have help and we must have the desire to walk with the Lord. This requires a daily renewal of our fellowship with Him. It must be daily because we are of a sinful nature. Seek His fellowship today. Love you guys.
